swapping back to stock intake question

I currently have a custom dynoflash for my mods, been thinking of switching back to stock intake with a K&N drop in filter, will I need to send my ecu back to have it flashed? I wouldnt think so but doesnt hurt to ask. Reason Im switching from a HKS RS kit is because I cant really take the erratic idle anymore, drivin me nuts I tell ya.

Thumbs up

i wouldn't think you have to, but a retune will maximize the k&n's potential. stock box with that filter is good for 400WHP...

OR you could order a HKS Kansai CF airbox & continue to use your current filter as all cone filters will fit inside it.

Why do you have a rough idle if you've been flash for intake??

You would need a re-tune after putting in a drop in? Everything I heard was if it was a whole air intake kit. Could be wrong though...

could be a boost leak causing the idle problem, and intake with a dustom flash should be fine...

You CAN NOT change intakes and not change the tune - the tunes are all different for different inatkes

Most likely idel problems are related to bov issues and or vac leaks
