Mail-in flash for Evo iX
To answer some questions
The new Dyno Flash IX includes a two step
I will be making some announcment about it generally in a couple of days - right now I am up to my elbows in wires making a harness to duplicate the car
I am offering custom tuned versions now at Beta tester prices at my local shop Pruven
I continue to offer the Ecutek version on all Evo 8 platforms which is an excelenet product - those who are interested in comparision data call for details

If there's enough of you, and you all put down deposits, Al will come. Yes, a custom street tune is the best, but it also costs more, so getting a mail-in flash isn't a bad value at all.
FYI, the 12.26@110 on 93oct in my sig is with one of Al's base mail-in flashes...no custom tuning whatsoever. If you can't get together enough people to get Al to visit you for custom tuning, then we will hook you up with a mod package for your IX that includes the mail-in Dynoflash. The good thing is that yesterday you didn't have these options, and now you do. Before, you would have spent $650 minimum for an EcuTek flash, but now you can spend as little as $249 for a Dynoflash.

What is the price?
Is it a denser map?
I want to get a reflash, since I am sure it might be a while until you visit SF again and several things have changed including fuel pump. I am very interested in the Ecutek flash for my car......

"Sadly on ecutek based products there are minimum pricing rules which set the minimum price at a firm $650 - which includes the initial license which is a one time fee"
I'm not even sure tuners do mail-in EcuTek flashes. You don't need one now, though. Just get a Dynoflash for less than half the price.
