My Dynoflash Review

05 Evo 5spd
HKS TI/Carbon Catback
HKS Twin Fire
Ralliart Plug wires (yes this was an upgrade see my power trio post in general)
Works drop in filter
MR JDM Bypass valve
Stinger SP1000 Battery
$200 Dynoflash

Planned
BR - 2.5 Downpipe being ceramic coated by performance coatings, not yet installed
Upgraded fuel pump

???

Anyway, at first I noticed the smooth power delivery the torque curve is so much flatter it is seceptive how much hp you have gained because of the flat or linear power band. This car flat out scoots now and has suprised me more than once with a strain to my neck muscles (maybe my head is too big). Big Kudos to you can call me Al. He has my business and a future reflash/hopefully a custom flash after the fuel pump. The best investment so far at $200!!

I agree. Even though my car was already tuned on my S-AFC and doing very well at the drag strip, I noticed an immediate increase in torque as well as smoother power delivery. I may not have gained any peak HP (didn't expect any), but I definitely gained a lot of power beneath the curve, which made daily driving MUCH MORE enjoyable than it previously was. Instead of downshifting to hit the powerband, I can just roll into boost in higher gears and still get a good pull. It's much more convenient and enjoyable. Mine was also a base mail-in flash...

Thanks Rog! Boost is whatever Al programs them at and whatever the jdm valve will hold, I am told 20-21lbs of boost before leakage.

I remember when I got cams the car felt so much faster but for some reason my 3rd gear pull times didn't improve. Then Al tuned my car, initially it felt just smooth but my 3rd gear pull time improved like 12%! So I take it to the strip very first time in my life and got 8.4 @ 20 psi 9.8 stock turbo (1/8 mile track) missing a 3rd shift! The sun went down so all the other runs my tires would just spin all the way to 2nd but was hitting over 87mph traps right at the rev limiter in 3rd.

I will be getting new tires to really test the car soon but all I can say is if you have modded your car on stock ecu, you will only get the available power with good tuning.

With Al's tune it's like a brand new supercar to me now. I'm a very happy customer too.

I can't wait to get alcohol and tuned again
