i think i am probably just going to get the base flash for $175. My clutch is slipping a little but as long as i stay off the throttle i should be fine for a couple more weeks, and it'll save me the $100 deposit and the trouble of mailing in the ecu later for the flash.

congrats - I have tuned 5 IX's thus far

At this point all IX tuning is via Ecutek based product which is nearly identical to the ecutek "Flash Evo" for all 2003 - 2005 Evo 8's of which I have been working with since it came out many months ago.

Also - I have been tuning ecutek with STI and WRX for over a year and I am factory trained by ecutek

I think I have completed about 100 ecutek tunes to date - although that is an approximate figure
