When you do the tuning on the road are you going to get any less power than you would out of tuning it on the dyno? also, if i did want to dyno tune my car it would be 465?

Ill stay with the road tunning, vivid racing sucks.
where is the road tunning going to be at?

I might be trading in my 03 evo for an evo 9 Mr, does ecutek work good with the evo 9?

As for road tune vs. street tune - a few points

IMHO for a car you drive every day tuning on the road is the way to go

You dont drive the car on a dyno

I have very advanced data logging gear which gives me all the info that I need to properly tune a car on the road and I give all customers a print out of all the graphs and data before and after to review

Road tuning is more work but it gives me the ability to test the car in all gears with a real load and air flow

if you are testing out parts to find more power of course a dyno helps you big time - but in this case we are tuning the car to be knock free, smooth and fast on the road

of course many customers like to see dyno numbers and the mustang dyno is not a bad dyno for tuning on

This is why i have decied to offer a choice on this trip

PS - I also decided it was a good time to break some dyno records over there at Vivid racing !

Anyone on the 3rd who wants to get done on the dyno just let me know and I will switch you to sunday

The Ecutek on the Evo IX is $650 which includes the initial license fee, 2 hours of custom tuning and your dyno time at Vivid Racing

If you need a future re-tune once your license is installed are done at my usual rates

Hey Al, got a problem...my stock clutch just started slipping the other day and i am going to be getting the ACT clutch, i'm not sure if i am going to be able to have it in before the 3rd. i know i can't bring my car to mitsubishi with the flash on my car or else warranty is voided and you also probably won't be able to tune with a slipping clutch. so if i'm not able to have to clutch in before the 3rd (I'm going to try my hardest) do i still get my 100 deposit back?
