I also want to test out the ratchet feature, because I change my boost a lot due to racing and changes in temp. The Forge BOV is just to see if it holds boost any better on the top end. I will be testing them separately starting with the Forge BOV combined with my Hallman, and then the UNOS with my MR DV. Eventually, I plan to just run both Forge parts daily, but I have to wait on my sponsored parts to show up (got the RS BOV, but waiting on the UNOS).
I really like my Forge Type RS and UNOS. I have the RS recirculating with the one-piece piston, and it does flutter just a bit in top gears at low RPM. I have it set as weak as it will go. The RS "kit" I received (ordered straight from Forge) came with the "Stiff" spring, which is only about an inch tall and bare metal. I just got off the phone with Luis at Forge, and he said it should have shipped with the weaker yellow spring, which is about 2 inches tall, so they are sending that to me.
damnit al! you co*k tease.
how dare you tell us about the celeb and then just keep it to your self?
you shouldn't of even brought it up in the first place. now we will all cry and weep like babies ;-;

You can drive most days on a easy spring setting and then when you wnt crank down the knob and get max performance - a great product

In testing that is where I found the JDM MR bov started to crack open. The Forge UNOS MBC works awesome. It holds rock steady up until the point where it normally starts to taper. The taper is still present, but the boost is as steady up until the taper, that I have ever seen. Strange thing also is that the boost doesnt seem to change as the weather gets colder. Very nice unit.

It really does seem like the consensus is that Forge makes probably the best MBC and BOV right now. I ordered my UNOS yesterday. I'm going to get the RS BOV after Christmas. I'm running the stock BOV now and I just have a feeling it's leaking all over the place.

Btw, I put the Forge RS on, and it works great. Unlike the JDM MR DV, it is adjustable, so that is taking some time to dial in, but this way it allows me to set it to super stiff at the track and then half-way during daily driving so as to eliminate most of the surge in top gear.
