I have the Dynoflash that goes to 20lbs and does not taper. I want to add a MBC. Is it OK to add the MBC with the altered boost setting from the Dynoflash or should I have Al bring it back to 19lbs and adjust the boost with the MBC? BTW I have a stock BOV.

Also, how much boost can you safely run for short runs (AutoX or occasional track day) on 93 pump gas. I am concerned about knock. Is 22 or 23 lbs. safe?????

Just set the MBC to the same boost as you had before - right around 20-21psi. Don't run 22-23 on pump gas without higher octane and proper tuning, unless you want to knock and lose power. I am getting away with 22psi right now in the cold weather, but in the summer, I can only do 21psi in the heat without issue. JMO...
