How many times an ECU can be flashed?

Hi AL, I am asking this because in Puerto Rico Gadiel is now a Cobb Tuning Accesport Pro Reflash Certified Tuner. Now he can reflash all kind of Subarus. And in the Cobb Tuning Webpage I saw this:

------------
Due to limitations within the ECU's flash memory, one can only successfully reprogram it approximately 100 times. In response to this challenge, our engineers developed a LIMITLESS Map Switching system. This means you can switch between maps as often as you like quickly, easily, and without ever reducing the life of your ECU's flash memory.
----------

This is the Accessport: http://cobbtuning.com/legacy/accessport.html

Also Gadiel said thats the reason why the tuners do very little passes when reflashing. Is that true in the Evos too? I didnt knew that. Just curious.

Are you going to change parts that need a flash more than 100 times? that seems like enough for me! (100X)

I have about 400 flashes on my own stock evo ecu

The specs on the chip warranty that it is good for 100 flashes

I dont think any customers have gone over that
