I don't have to dyno exactly what this particular IX does. And the difference in turbos isn't really that relavent anyway once the stroker kit is installed..-M

That car must be unbelievable to drive. Full torque at 3500rpms and the hp does not drop off!!! Unbelievable!!!!
You should put a Buschur Evo 9 20G on to hold the boost all the way to redline.
Of course for scientific purposes only.....
One question though, why does the torque fall off so dramatically.

are there any benefits having a ported head on a stock like turbo with the stroker kit? the reason im asking is because im thinking about doing a 2.3 and ix-20g. the 2.3 seems to be a very good addition to the ix turbo.
Al,
I see you're fine tuning on this car really brought out the TQ numbers on this Evo IX.
I have read lots of postings that state on the Evo 8, a 2.3 Stroker maxes out the Stock turbo at the top end.
Did you find that to be true with this car as well?
Have you tuned any other Evo IX with the 2.3 Stroker / Stock IX - 16G?
Thank you,
Buk,

Ah yes the good old days when I spent $6500 to buy the first IX flashing machine
What a joy that was (not) trying to find all the maps in hex code
Things are much easier now but not as much fun!

It is really a shame that you did not just take the car when it was at that point
Sadly, the next series of modifications has wound up in a peverse twist of ineptitude and inexcuseable delays and malfeasance taking now almost a full year and apparently still in the works at yet another shop
I feel your pain !

Nope not on the road , alot of work had to be done to get my car on the road after the pruven mess, I will post a entire update of the car when it comes together or close to completion ,100% my dream car will be completed at AMS.
