could you estimate what the difference would be if he had been using the stock cat... this is what i'll probably end up doing.. wondering if it's going to kill the power though

Once again, I'm amazed by the IX. Can you imagine the $$ you'd have to throw into an STi to accomplish this, as compared to the Evo? There are people on upgraded turbos on STi's that are pushing hard to reach 350whp. I love it.

removing the stock cat is good for approx 10 to 15 whp.

Yea, thanks a lot Al, car felt great on the ride home. I would highly recommend the folks over at Dynoflash and Pruven, very professional, and really take the time to get it just right and work with the customer.
