Warrtalon ur 12.2 at 110 mph is very impressive. Do u no lift shift? Most decent drivers need 320 whp to pull off 12.2 at 110 mph. So I really believe his car is closer to 300 whp and urs is at least 20 more.

At least I can admit it Here is the full details on the run. Still good for 18psi I think.

60' 1.777
330 5.175
1/8 8.013
mph 85.17
1000 10.476
1/4 12.547
mph 108.49
I honestly believe that your car could trap 109MPH at only 18PSI if you kept at it. But why would you do that? I'm very interested to see what you will run with more boost, I'm taking a guess here, and I believe you if you keep at it and run 23-24PSI it is possible that you may hit 11s with mods you have on your IX. I am comparing you to another evom.net member who had a similiar problem but for different reasons as you.

This is one of his time slips, notice that it is very similiar to your run-
RT .027
60 1.70
330 5.16
1/8 8.00
mph 85.08
1000 10.48
1/4 12.55
mph 108.94

His car should have been faster, just like yours but both of you were lacking enough boost. Your car was only boosting 18PSI because you were not fully prepared. His car was boosting 25PSI but his car was most likely suffering a minor boost leak. I do not think he ever addressed the problem of a possible boost leak (reading his later threads), but still installed a Alcohol Kit and ran 24.5PSI, he would later run a-

60' 1.655
330 4.909
1/8 7.601
Mph 90.49
1000 9.900
1/4 11.841
Mph 116.05

Now I believed the Alcohol Kit helped, but he still was not holding boost up to the full potential and his Alcohol Kit with a minor boost leak in my opinion would be comparable to your stock turbo boosting 24PSI.

I don't know this is just my theory, I could be totally wrong and you run a 12.3 @110MPH with more boost, so I guess we will just wait and see.

No problem. Minor misunderstanding. The best part about this disagreement is that we weren't arguing DYNO results that had no proof from the track, but rather arguing ESTIMATED hp based off REAL RESULTS. I would MUCH RATHER have the real live 12.5@108.5 than a dyno result that makes me think I can get a 12.5@108.5. I prefer to hit the track to show actual results, then hit the dyno to show what those results translate to...you've already done the same thing.

I no-lift the 3-4, and I half-lift the 2-3 (50% TPS), but the 1-2 is a standard, full lift snap shift.

Warrtalon- I may go again on Wednesday. I'll turn it up to 21psi and see what happens.

3000ways- I'm curious what more boost will do also. I don't think it will be much. I'm thinking 12.3/12.4 at 110 is very realistic though.

Here's the update Al, the car is running great!

Buschur/dynoflash Ix Goes 12.0

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, like I thought, the car just needed a little more boost. I ran 20-21psi all night and the car is an animal. Here are the numbers. Many thanks to the Buschur guys who build great parts and to Al for the flash.

60' 1.74
330' 5.07
1/8 7.86
mph 86.77
1000 10.269
1/4 12.27
mph 111.98

60' 1.77
330' 5.05
1/8 7.80
mph 88.88
1000 10.17
1/4 12.16
mph 112.78

60' 1.73
330' 5.00
1/8 7.74
mph 88.83
1000 10.10
1/4 12.09
mph 112.00

Mod list is Buschur TBE, Buschur MA intake/filter kit, Buschur upper I/C pipe w/ 1G BOV, and of course the Dynoflash. Wonder if there are any Vishnu cars running 12.0 w/ intake, exhaust, and a flash???

Btw, now you're probably around 330-340whp. You would have trapped 113+ probably with a higher rev limiter. Are you sure it was raised above stock (7600)?

DAMM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost 11's already !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way to go man

(PS - and to think you hae the identical tune to the guy with the BR Stage II in cali that Vishnu re-tuned after it had no power)

BTW - for those interested the base flash on this car is IDENTICAL same as the BR350 package which Buschur sells

This tune was developed over a 3 day period at Buschur Racing this December

Wild to think it has 11 second potential on pump gas

PPS - sorry about the rev limiter - its not raised on the BR350 as it is covered by a warranty - next time I am in Florida I will be happy to correct it for you
