Al does the custom road tune include the 2 step launch control rev limiter?

I'm fairly new at the business of things. Bare with me. I have a few questions: #1 - How do I go about putting my deposit down? And #2, After I get the initial flash, can I continue to have them done regardless of the combination of aftermarket parts I decide to go with? I'm curious as to when it's a MUST that I upgrade to the standalone EMS.

A bit of advice needed...

If this is my first ECU flash, would it be better if I went with the custom vs. base flash?

The only things that I'll have are the intake, exhaust, BOV, and the MBC.

well I would definitely get a custom flash because of the intake and bov. A base flash will help though. If you want the most out of those mods then get the custom flash. Right now you are loosing hp with those mods. Once you get a custom tune or a base tune you'll see a huge difference.

Just think of it this way, the base flash is a flash that is made to fit the products you have install on any evo. This flash can be put on any evos ecu with the same mods as you.

The custom flash is specifically tailored to your EVO. The custom flash will be flashed to fit your specific car and mods. The tune will be more aggresive when compared to the base flash because Al will be able to tell exactly what effects the changes hes making are taking on your car.

Al has been able to do very well with the baseflashes with intakes now so I wouldnt let that be your deciding factor. The custom will definatly optimize the power that you can get from your mods.

I will be down to get a base flash but I will not be getting the custome tune. If there is enough interest and this date is happening for sure then I will send in a deposit as well. Otherwise, I will see you guys on the 16th!!

Please post an update when we know For Sure that this date will be happening!

Everything's all set for the 11th date. The only thing I have left to do is put my deposit down. I'll do that in the next few days. What would be the best way of putting the deposit down? I want to make sure that I don't get lost in the mix for some reason.

I am looking to get a flash as well. I was thinking we were doing this in April, but that's not looking too good.

I'd like to get added to this list for a Base Flash for a IX. If I need to put a deposit or anything, please let me know.

Also, I have some mods, not much. MBC - Cat Delete - Buschar Intake. Would I benifit more with a Base Flash or a Tune?

Additional: Prices for the Base Flash and Tune on an IX?

Thanks for the info.
