Large Injectors Needed Yet?

Hey Al, (and fellow Dynoflashers)

I am currently running the following mods on one of your Custom Dynoflash Street Tunes

Helix O2 Housing
Helix 3" Downpipe
UR 3" High Flow Cat
Blitz Nur Spec Catback Exhaust
Blitz SUS Intake
HKS 272's I/E Cams w/ARP Headbolts
SMC Methanol Kit (100% Meth)
Blitz SBC-iD Boost Controller
Greddy RS BOV
Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump

Things I am about to add and get a reflash from Al

3" Testpipe
Turbo XS FMIC
AMS Lower Intercooler Pipe

With what I have and what I am getting do you think larger injectors are needed yet?

If so how large?

Thanks,

DrBump

since your running methanol you might not even need injectors but 680cc should be the largest you would need

please dont say these things till you actually log your stock injector duty cycle... I am on stock turbo, w/ WI, so I run 24 psi, but even at 20 psi and only cams/tbe/intake... and the like I was definately pegging the stock 560's out. upgrad them. the only thing in the stock defense is that I never went lean even though I was running them at 100%. So I believe that if nothing extraordinary happens and all works fine, nothing will be damaged... but do you really wanna run em at 100%?

honki24 - are you running just water or methanol as your fluid of injection?

This may make a difference in what the duty cycle is on the injectors since Smoked and I are running straight methanol.

You must know more than all the top speed shops then! I will go with their reccomendations on this one. Thanks Bumper asked if they are NEEDED, and NO they are not. you need MORE air to mix with the "more" fuel being dumped in,(the more air volume will be found with a BIGGER TURBO) and there is no need for more fuel, if you have a constant (stock) amount of air to mix with it.my 2c. I have been running fine with my mods, and stock injectors for over 2 years, I stomp on it hard, and have an AEM UEGO guage on my dash, and I run richer without any problems with the boost. I am at 97-99%? Call Andrew, he will tell you its OK to keep the stockers, and I can mention ALL the other speedshops if you want me too.
