My impressions of the Buschur Flash
Im going to be completely honest here, before today I thought that the Buschur Flash was just like any other mail in flash. Needless to say I was wrong, iv been running this tune for almost a year and I finally bought and installed a wideband today.
From what I have read on here most of the mail in flashes are set pretty rich, high 10 AFR's on the average. When we did my run my AFR's never got richer than 11:2 and no leaner than 11:5. I think this is pretty damn close to being the perfect AFR for just me mailing my ECU to AL and getting it back the next day.
To anyone considering the Buschur upgraded sequence I highly recommend it. IMO its the next best thing besides a custom tune, which I will be getting on Feb. 11th. My hats off to Al and David

When I first started working with David Buschur on it two years ago it was a steep learning curve for myself to conform the tuning to his methods and high standards. There is no doubt that not only has the colaberation improved my skills as a tuner - it has yielded a really great series of reflashes specifically tuned and set up to work with the Buschur Staged Upgrade path for the Evo 8 and IX
Most recently David and I spent 3 long intense days on the dyno to make the IX BR 350 tune and that has already paid off with rave reviews and a blistering 12.09 at the drag strip in FL on PUMP GAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is no doubt that with a UNIFORM and standardized package of parts that works well together you can really step up the wick on a mail in tune over other combinations that rely on a hodge podge of misc parts that many customers wind up with. Going with the BR stages and the matching flash gives you a very refined and powerful mail in solution.
David Buschur gets most of the credit for his tuning methods and concepts which are proporietary to BR and the Buschur Flash.
