Uh, he did that on a IX, which is a much faster Evo than my 05. He also hasn't matched me yet - not even close. My 12.26 was on pump gas - his was on race gas. My race gas time is 12.000. What is your problem anyway, dude? You ran into a problem, freaked out, screwed up on the forum and now are aping out like a little child having a temper tantrum. Collect yourself and simmer down.

Honestly posting up a thread about this is pretty lame. You didnt see me posting a thread about when Al sent my ecu back and fedex wouldnt let me have it did you? Nope, I sent an email and I called Al.

Now your just asking for Warr said to you all along. Dont dig a deeper hole for urself.

That's why i said to leave a message, send a PM, and send an email just in cases. You never know exactly where he is on any given day, so he's tough to get in touch with. This is also why I try to help people in the meantime.

What's wrong with coming to the forum? YOu don't know? He's giving no details whatsoever other than saying he got his ECU Dynoflashed and now he can't boost. He gave NO OTHER DETAILS whatsoever, so all his thread does is gets 0 actual information for him while causing unjust doubt on mail-in flashes. It's the worst thing someone can do in a situation like this. He had no patience and immediately posted (twice, might I add) as soon as he couldn't get Al on the phone. All it takes is a little patience or PMing me directly. Posting multiple threads in public helps nothing.

Dont worry about Warrtalon, hes like that to everyone all the time. Before you know it you will be skipping over his posts and not paying any attention to him at all (j/k, even though he has harsh criticism at times he does help alot of us out and is very helpful).

Ok. lets get this back on track. All you did was get a flash done? Is your car bone stock? If not what mods do you have and when were they installed?

Guys, who cares if he messed up. Its doesent matter now and next time he will think about it. There is nothing we can do now except help this guy out. So instead of bashing him or comparing timeslips on who is faster with what mods lets help him out!! Im sorry Warrtalon but it seems like every thread I post in you are bragging about what times you ran, its getting quite old. I mean I know your times better than my own cause I read them all the damn time from your posts. Great Job on that now lets help this guy out. It doesnt matter who is faster, lol

Ok back on track again, was the car boosting fine when you sent the ECU out? I know you had the mods installed but did you ever go and test drive it? It sounds like you are running off of wastegate pressure.

Gimme a break, dude, how can you point this out when it was in OBVIOUS RESPONSE to the guy who started this thread. He is the one that started talking about ETs, not me. Nice selective readings.

Also, we're ALREADY HELPING HIM in the original thread he created. No reason to keep asking the same questions in a 2nd thread. Now, I hope people start to understand why it's stupid to post the same thread twice, not to mention it's a forum rule not to do it.

*just to clear something up------im am NOT doubting Al or DYNOTUNE in anyway. I am NOT saying the flash caused this im sure that when the problem is fixed i will see the results of the flash and be more than pleased i am simply asking if anyone knows what could have caused this and if they have had any similar problems. thats all*

yeah the car was boosting fine everything was completely normal that is whats so confusing about all of this because when i parked it to take out the ecu it was fine and it didnt move or anything(obviously i didnt have the ecu) and not something isnt right

You are correct but the first chance you got you had to go defend yourself because you ran .2 faster on a less powerful car and BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.

But I do have to agree with him on the thing about posting it twice. It makes it much easier to keep it all in one thread. Im sure there is information in the other thread that could of helped us over here but we cant see it. I cant believe I just agreed with Warrtalon, jfwy warr

**EDIT** Just read the post below and if that does not support what I was saying about Warr then I dont know what will, LOL.

Um, no, I always have mixed gas, too. How can you say you were at 98oct while saying I was at 110oct, when I already explained to you that I always use a 50/50 mix, too. Using your method, I was at 101.5 oct, and I was at 24psi (you were at 23). I also ran 12.22 with a cat-back (stock downpipe, stock cat, stock bov, stock intake) with 98oct, too, but with 3 less mph on a previous model that is much slower due to the smaller turbo and no MIVEC. You don't have driving on lockdown yet, because your car is making power, but you aren't yet making full use of it. A car trapping high is not an indication of driving ability; it's an indication of HP, which your car has plenty of...(yes, I'm jealous of IX's ).

You are doing well, but you still have a ways to go. Remember to slap down some straight 93oct times next time, too...
