Pruven'ed and re-DynoFlashed !!!!

so i went to Pruven to meet with AL yesterday to get my car finally tuned for the new parts i've installed a month ago .. since im keeping the car and im not selling due to some forgotten facts .. long story .. LOL but here is what happened to me and my girl in the last 2 days

quick story version

called AL to check if he would be at pruven and sure enough, he would be there .. so i got there at 2pm and changed the oil and got straped in .. made a few passes and it didn't look good .. the car would spike to like 22-23 psi and dip down to 14-16 psi and it wouldnt hold for anything ! .. so by this time it was already 6pm .. i had to return the next day to fix the problem ( actuator needed to be adjusted and bad boost controller )

today - meet up with the guys at Pruven ( kenny and crew ) they adjusted my actuator and i got a new boost controller last night after i left Pruven and installed it myself last night til 10pm ( blitz SBC-ID III ) and once they adjusted my actuator and my boost setting was on point ... i was banking 23psi to redline and it didn't seem like the blitz want to let go of the boost it went from 23psi to like 22.8 psi LOL ..

so .. here is what i came out with !

i came out with 355awhp and 344 tq ..

mods list

TME 6.5 RS turbo
TXS intercooler
Helix upper and lower IC piping
HKS RS take
HKS 272 in/ex cams
HKS d/p
UR testpipe
Fujitsubo exhaust
Blitz SBC-ID III EBC
and some other things i forgot .. hehe

just by the #s along .. i can tell alrady that the exhaust is robbing me of some 10-15 HP suspect could be even more .. but i like my quiet exhaust and i dont get hassled by the cops with this exhaust .. but even thou the # is not 400whp ... but you have to admire the way the HP wants to kep climing for more !

so BIG  to Dan and Kenny and their Crew at Pruven and AL for being so patient with me for 2 days of tuning to get my car the way it feels now .. and man oh man .. the car pulls like no tomorrow at any range of the rpm !!!!!

Just to add - it is prob the cleanest and smoothest dyno sheet I have seen in a long time

The car was near perfectly smooth on the street - a great parts combo

Thanks for your patience with takling care of all the loose ends. Having everything sprted right mechanically is the key to an amazingly good running car!

Very Nice indeed. Did the TME upgrade include a 10.5 Hotside? Also how much extra power would PORTING the 10.5 unit add that Dave does? What about a ported exhaust manifold. This guy is also running a stock Cat back? Thanks Al

All TMEs have a 10.5. That's part of what makes them a TME. He has a Fujitsubo cat-back. Porting of just the hotside won't show much power, but if you do the ported/coated hotside, ported/coated manifold, and coated O2, you can see 20whp or more...

yes, all TME 6.5 RS has the 10.5 hotside ..

what would you think if i slapped on a TurboXS exhaust, wouuld that make a difference ? cuz i've ordered one and actually wanting to put it on a dyno next week and see if there is any flow difference that will net me more HP and better flow ..

I don't think you'd get anymore power. Curious why you'd spent that much money on the TXS when there are so many more exhausts on the market that make proven power for much less money.

well, i kind went with the turbo magazine issue that put some of the exhaust under the microscope and this was one of the exhaust that came out on top next to the Greddy Ti exhaust .. and since i wasn't gonna spring for that .. i went with the next best thing ! and with the TXS exhaust .. i got it at a great deal so it really wasn't all that bad ... hehe .. but i am really curious about what is the difference between the 2 exhaust .. cuz both company are on the oppsite direction in building their product

Fujitsubo - build for quaility and quietness and looks
TXS - build for speed and power in mind .. and that was all it matters ..

both great products .. but i have to see for myself on a dyno if there is any difference and cured the meth of neck down and quiet exhaust = no more ( due to restriction ) .. so i can't wait til i get both on a dyno and get some testing done !
