I guess this question could go towards Clay or Al. Like it says in my sig i just ordered the Buschur/Warrtalon Stage 1 that comes with a basic mail in flash. I haven't received anything from Buschur yet, i'm guessing the exhaust and stuff should be here by the end of this week or beginning of next. Someone from Buschur has called me and given me my RA# for when i shipped you my ECU. My question is, could i just wait till you (Al) get down here and have you custom flash my ECU and just pay you the difference? If this is possible, the difference should be around $200, correct me if i'm wrong on that. Also, as you know the Forge MBCs are on back order right now so when i order my kit i had to choose between Buschur and Turbosmart MBC. Well i picked the TS MBC, but as i read through more and more threads it seems that more then half the people that have the TS MBC or have tried it have problems with it. Also i know that you (Al) personally don't like the TS MBC. Al, i know you recommend the Hallman or Forge MBCs. So what should i do, try out the TS MBC or sell it and try and pick up a Hallman or Forge before you come down here in the end of March? Get back to me with the answers to these questions when you guys get a chance, thanks.

Yes, all the flashes with the Buschur packages are done by Dynoflash, so if you get the WT/BR package for your Evo, then you can certainly just get flashed in person during this trip instead of sending your ECU.

 

06MR, I will bring this to Al's attention. A few points:

1) I'm sorry about the MBC issue. Forge is completely out of them in all of the US. I personally corresponded with the Forge UK business manager to let him know how desperate we are for the UNOS here in the US so that he would help push the process along. They have a huge batch being machined right now, so they should ship to the US next week. The TS isn't so bad - it's the TXS that is awful. I hadn't seen many complains with the TS, so hopefully it works. If you can sell it and get an UNOS or Hallman Pro, though, without losing money, then go for it.

2) The difference in price will be up to Al, but it shouldn't be far off what you said.

To get the slot, you have to put down a deposit. If you put down a deposit, that's for a road tuning timeslot, so be sure first. I've notified Al to check these questions, but he was traveling back from HI yesterday, so he may be crashed out right now.
