You can see the schedule yourself. The only timeslot left is 7-10pm on Sunday. All the others are completely full, so if you wanted to move around, you'd have to switch with someone yourself.

You should show up before 8pm, but there's hardly any chance he'll be finished early. He usually runs a little behind, because the cars are never in perfect shape. Most usually need to change the mbc, change the bov, fix the boost lines, find a boost leak, yadda yadda. When cars show up that are running perfectly with no issues, he gets done much more quickly, but that's pretty rare.

 

I dont think anybody would be willing to switch with me for the 8-10 slot on sat night though. It's ok im sure i will be ok with my time. I appreciate the help tho.

 

Do you know exactly at south of the border we are spose to meet with Al? Or just look for a Evo?

 

Don't worry about it, man. You're way too stressed out over this. A meeting place will be decided, then Al will let you know. There's no reason to worry about that now.

 

Yeah you are right, I just have the worst luck in the world. I make myself think that i'll drive down there and he wont even be there or something. But you are right it's not even into the week yet. I'm sure something will be concrete in a couple of days.

 

Heads up to you guys, If you can it would be wise to do a good boost leak check before you roll out there. I ran mine to 30psi and found mad boost leaks. Would hate to waste Al's time messing with silly crap that I can fix myself before hand.....Now watch something lame break on my car when i get there, LOL.

 

Good job, because that's what ends up happening almost every time. People think they have no leaks, but when they go actually check, they usually find several. In fact, I'll be doing one on my car today just for a regular checkup.

 

E VOL IX............breathe............ok. when u get off the exit for south of the border you'll make a left at the stop sign/light. u go down the road maybe 1/8th of a mile and theres a big *** parking lot on the right, by a gas station and another big parking lot 100yds down from that on the right also. YOU CANNOT MISS IT>LOOK FOR EVOS AND YOU'LL BE FINE! its seems like your hyperventilating over nothing. stop posting wacky stuff. it'll be alright.

btw, just keep the slot you have. i'm sure Al wont cut you short.

hey guys last night when i was driving home i would go WOT and around 6k rpms i would boost off of 21psi to 23-24psi to redline. I think i only noticed this in 3rd or 4th. I would start WOT at boost rpms. Before hand we did a boost leak check..found one in the bov fixed that..earlier in the day i installed the v2 of of helix DP...everything from exhaust manifold and down is ported. I also put new spark plugs in. We also fixed a small oil leak near the cam gear..we had to take the top off having the cams exposed. This morning driving it i didnt get the same thing...weird thing to happen...what do you do u guys think?
