Warr,
Is there anyway that I can send my ECU in for a base flash to get me by until the custom on May 13-14?

# All Through The Mail (TTM) reflashes are backed by the two week Dynoflash road test guarantee.*
# When you decide to upgrade, upgrades only cost 100.00. Minor add-ons, like exhaust, boost controllers, do not need reflashing. However, additions such as a fuel pump, intake, cams, ect. need a retune
# Current customers of any Through The Mail reflash can upgrade for $350.00 to a full custom flash.

Yes, you can, but only if the alky is not installed. There are no mail-in flashes for alky, because it's too dangerous, so if you want to have a base flash for your non-alky mods, then go for it. You can get a custom tune when Al comes to Illinois, and it will only cost $300 (not $350).

I just might do that. I know the Alky can't be tuned via Mail-in and that is what the custom tune would be for. Thanks Warr, I will let you and AL know when the time comes near.

I need a reflash on my IX. I originaly sent info about genesis on the last midwest dynoflash idea.

I just put a deposit down at AMS, but they're booked unitl June 1st!!!!!!!

I would like to have Al do it too, BUT Im a little skepticle of road tunning only. Where will we be doing these pulls over and over again at over legal speed? Who gets to go 1st? By the last guy, numerous complaints will have cops swarming and looking for someone to bust. My license cant handle it.

Dyno #'s are kinda irrelevent other than being able to boast about a number. Getting the air/fuel and timming right is what its about. And I understand why Al wouldnt want to wait for strapping/unstrapping cars on the dyno.

And how much is it for EVO IX?

Cops aren't an issue, and on the interstate, he's not very far over the acceptable speeds, although it's not something you'd want to do for a long time. He just does quick 3rd gear pulls, then stops to check logs and retune.

A custom road tune on a IX during a tuning trip is $450, and you get 3 hours of work.

Al drives your car so your licence is good to go, or should I say "stay"?

Al checked today and has 3 deposits for Illinois. He is going to come whether it's on the weekend of May 13/14 (Atlanta right now) or 2 weeks later on the weekend of May 27/28. He has an NHRA race at Atco on the 20/21 weekend, so you guys would come directly after. He is definitely coming to you guys, so don't worry. You just may have to wait a little while.

He is going to give some special prices, so stay tuned.

Hey Warr, I had a custome tune done about 5 months ago. The retunes are free right?
I would be in for a retune. I'm 40 min away from Chicago.

You get free mail-in flashes for life, but custom road tunes still cost $300 as a return customer.
