TME is a mitsubishi turbo....spools quicker and makes a tiny bit more power than the stock 03-04 turbos.

I'm just telling him to research into it and decide if it's for him or not....to each their own.

You are right about that. Time will tell buddy.

Corey is a smart guy, we can believe that he will spend 2 months to make a decision

Later,

you DONT need injectors with the stock turbo. Al's retune will take care of your 272's and idling. You don't need cam gears to get the idle right.

Alky will help you get more power outta the stock turbo but if you dont want to run alky, then might as well get the fmic if you're planning on modding your car more in the future. Other possible mods you might want to think about in the future or even now would be either a BR ported/coated manifold, or a tubular header such as DC or maxford which will lose you a little bit of midrange power, but help you up top (the tubular header i mean, not the BR cast mani)....also, people have been raving about the ebay o2 housing (including dave buschur) so maybe you can do a little research into that.

so just a few things to consider.....as always, just my .02
I appreciate the advice.

I think what I'm gonna end up doing IF the TME deal falls through. I'm gonna buy a 10.5 hotside and a DC Sports tubular manifold. My buddy has a Meagan Racing 02 housing that he may sell me as well. If I get the TME, I'll do the DC Sports mani and the 02 housing. If money allows, I may throw a AMS licp in the mix as well. It's probably better to have all those pieces done at one time being the manifold and turbo will be off the car to do the 10.5 or the TME.

My main thing is I want to put parts on that actually NEED tuning now. I don't think just putting a FMIC will have to have a full retune. I may be wrong though.

I think with my current mods and the added ones, I shouldn't have any problem reaching my goal of 350whp or more on 93 oct. I may be wrong about that as well.

About how much mid range do you think I will sacrifice with the tubular manifold? I want my car to be fun on the street and pin you in the seat like it does now. I don't want it to feel like a Honda with nothing but topend power.
