If its at Top Speed anyway, can I be dyno tuned instead of road tuned? How much for that? I have to go home one weekend next month and I have to decide to sign up for either this one or the "other companys" flash the following week at their tuning trip also in Atlanta.

Yes, you can, Halo. Al often does dyno tunes there. Sometimes he does one whole day of dyno tuning and one whole day of road tuning. It's up to the customers.

If you want to get dyno tuned at TopSpeed by Al, again, it will be much cheaper and you will get a full 2 hours.

I don't really care if it takes 30 minutes or two hours because I know he will do it right however short or long it takes. I'm not going to run race gas. I want a reflash quote with dyno time included so I can decide at which place to reserve a spot? My mods will be Buschur turbo back only. Thank you.

The total price will depend on what TopSpeed charges for dyno use. Al charges his tuning price, which is $375 for a custom tune on an VIII, then tacks on the dyno charge for your session. Typically, the location gives quite a good discount on the dyno time, then Al knocks off some of his price to keep it all affordable.

When we get some deposits and enough requests, Al will work out the dyno details with TopSpeed, and we'll let you know.

I have an IX, not an VIII, but thanks for the help. Looks like the price is $450 plus whatever the shop will charge me.

I'd have to be on a waiting list for the other place anyway.

Sorry, duh, yes you have a IX, so the price is $450 plus the dyno charge.

Halo you would be making the right choice since the other tuner will leave you with the exact same as everyone else with the same mods compared to Al who will make the most out of your tune. Instead of giving you a # exactly the same as every other IX. If you look you will see about the exact same dyno #'s for every car tuned by them. Instead of Al who can maximize your cars potential. I know last time the dyno time wasn't that much I would contact Topspeed to see. Last time I think I paid $50 extra but that was last year not sure if it will be the same?

I don't agree with you. I think both would do fine but price is a motivating factor and the other day is overfilled. I still wish I could get everything from Buschur but need to pay the lowest price. Extra money is a concern for me now.

What other parts do you need when you say "wish I could get everything from Buschur"? I may be able to help you get the parts you need at the right price.

I'd just like to have a Buschur flash from Buschur too. But I can't get it custom tuned. I know you guys think it sounds dumb, but I would like to have an all Buschur car. I'm just so confused about the different flashes between Dynoflash and Buschur and their costs.

You are kidding right? Both are done by Al The Buschur flash is one thats off the shelf for your Bushur mods. Just like a base flash by mail Al offers but designed for his parts(Buschur).
If you have all Buschur parts and have Al custome tune it your getting your Buschur flash but better your getting it custome tuned by Al himself exactly for your car instead of an off the shelf tune.

Yeah, Buschur flashes are all done by Al anyway. I thought I explained it all. The difference is they have a lot of hours of R&D on the road and dyno to absolutely perfect them for the BR stages. You don't just randomly get a Buschur flash for any mod combo - they are specific to his stage.
