Al,

I just wanted to provide you with a list of my mods for the Sunday tuning session

3" turbo back exhaust
BR ported and coated manifold
BR ported and coated 10.5 hotside
Coated Ebay o2 housing
JDM MR BOV
Walbro fuel pump
GSC 272/264 cams
BR air filter
Greddy Profec B (the original one) EBC

The gauge is irrelevant. He uses a MAP sensor that reads the true boost.

Install the MBC and fuel pump BEFORE the tune. Get those immediately and put them in - do not wait. You don't want to install the fuel pump after a custom tune, but the MBC is not as critical. The gauges mean nothing in reference to the tune.

I have to install my fuel pump too this friday, but I'm having second thoughts on whether it's necessary or not. Seems that it's divided. Some people don't do their fuel pump and don't have any problems.

the fuel pump helps alot if you have alot of mods in your car. do we need to let Al know what are mods are here? if so heres mine

Buddy club 272/272

HKS RS intake

turbo back exhaust w/ hi flow cat

Sure...post up your mods. I'd like to see what my evo brothers are running with them . Found a thread where Al says it's not necessary if you have a ix and are on stage 1 or 2. If you make more than 325awhp on the viii, then you should upgrade.

hey silex if you need any help on installing anything let me know ok so i can help u out, same goes to the san diego evos here.. oh yha i dont know if you guys received my email that I am not gonna get to caravan with you guys on sat. I will be leaving on friday heading down LB so I can see my mother inlaw and leave my son to them when I get tune, But i will be in the tuning place early on sat. so i can meet you guys

Al,

I will be sending the rest of the money required today, $350. Hopefully I can get my stupid o2 housing in tomorrow before the tune. Worst part to install evar!

When you are installing the 02 housing - make sure that you have the proper pre-load on the wastegate actuator arm when yo0u reinstall everything
