I just went thru the same thing. The website said my product is instock. Everything i ordered arrived except for 2 products. And i recieved a note saying how a different warehouse was used for shipping the rest of my order. Finally after 2 weeks of nothing, and after the 3rd attempt of contacting, they finally replied and told me about the backorder.

Again, i am not trying to Bash you, Al, or any vendors. I just think that a simple email, or pm after a customer orders something about the backorder status would clear many potential arguements.
The reality is that when you are waiting for a supplier to get you goods and they keep saying "any day now" it becomes a bit frusrtaing

In my case I was just in LA tuning for 4 days and I did not have time to respond to inquiries and PM's about these BOV's

Many vendors just decide to stop selling these kind of low profit items to avoid the headaches involved

I can tell you that when a manufacturer has frequent and habitual delays and problems in fufilling my orders in time I will just stop selling those products

Forge is really great stuff and I think the Evo sales have been so strong that they are just over loaded

Hopefully it will all work out

I have been patiently WAITING and calling them every second day

If you are not as patient till they fulfuil my standing order for 30 more units - then kindly PM me your pay pal info and I will refund your paymant now

I appologize for the delay but I am 100% sold out and Forge has really been slow at making more units
So, why couldn't you let me know this earlier...before I sent you the money. THEN, why couldn't you let me know that you recieved my money and that the BOVs were backordered. No, you just ignored all my attempts to contact you. I told you in the last email and PM that if I didnt hear from you by close of business yesterday that I was going to start this thread. And I didn't hear from you, hence the thread.

Maybe your reading comprehension is low - but I explianed in the previous post that I was in LA and traveling back and forth accross the USA in a plane the last few days tuning and could not respond to your numerous PM's

I was tuning a car till 1:00 p.m. yesterday in LA and on a plane at 3:00 LA time and did not get to my bed till 2:30 a.m. eastern - its a bit hard for me to respond to your threats while I am on a plane for 6 hours

On the subject of Forge products, do you have any Forge UNOS MBC's in stock? I've PM'd you about it, but no response due to your reasons. Just curious as I am interested in getting a black UNOS for my setup.

Also - as I additionally explained I have been relying on Forge's promises of shipment "ANY DAY" now for sevreal weeks

If they had sent me the product - then I could have sent it to you

Sadly, they are unable to supply me with either the product or a firm date when it will be here at this point

I have just refunded your payment and please do not send another one in the future

Thanks

IMHO ANY BOV that vents AT ALL to air is NO GOOD on ANY MAF sensor car

When you vent to air you get an overly rich condition which washes the oil from your cylinder walls - fouls your plugs and clogs your cat

Remember - all air is very accurately measured by the MAF sensor - when you VTA - even half or what ever that air that is released is having fuel injector time applied and as a result you get overly rich condition

VTA is only for kids whop like louds sounds and dont care if the car runs poorly

BTW - on a final note if anything re-circ valve actually can help to spool the turbo faster between shifts by directing more air at the compressor wheel

The forge RS is a great unit - I just think Forge is too small a company to keep up demand

BTW - I just orderd 20 more Black UNOS

PM Sent. Refund my money. You have not been on a plane for 11 days. All I wanted was an order confirmation and maybe an explanation that the BOV was on backorder. But all I got was ignored. If you hope to continue doing business, I suggest you take a hard look at your level of customer service.

How does wanting his money back= him to be immature? He has the right to question Al it is his money after all. Once again like some of the others threads etc it comes down to his "amazing" customer service. I think he knows Al is a busy guy...even though that is now a played out excuse for not keeping in touch with his customers etc the guy just wanted to know what was going on...he should of tried and called him.

...Fanboys Assemble!!!

Greetings all,

Especially you Al, it seems that you are taking some heat for a shortcoming on our end. The issue here does indeed lie with us, we have an extensive product range for a company of our size, and occasionally this leads to supply issues when things get backed up. We have been and continue to do everything in our power to design, test, manufacture and assemble all products as quickly as we can. We will be getting in another shipment of these to satisfy demand, but at the moment I can't give an accurate eta on when that will be. All I ask is that all of you remain patient and hold out for these great products, we are taking further steps to bolster productivity on our end to help alleviate some of this in the future and get them out to our dealers in quantity and in a more timely fashion.

I guess there are worse positions to be in then not having enough product to meet the demand. It does illustrate just how popular some of the Evo products have become, and for that we have to thank not only our dealers but more importantly all of the end users that continue to ask for and use the products. Rest assured, we are aware of how important you all are in this and will do our part, not only to supply all of you, but also to uphold the strong product support that we pride ourselves on.

Best regards to all,

Angel Robles
