He won't tune you without a fuel pump if you have an MBC on an VIII.

Can Al do a dual octane tune for me (93 and 100). Is this done through the MBC? Should I have really low fuel and then bring 5 gallons of 93 and 100.

I don't think a flash is capable of running 2 maps where you can change back and forth anytime you want to....unless you have a EMS or something else...

Yes, it is called a dual stage flash and I was wondering the same thing. If it must be noted, I would like to have this done as well.

Base flashes only take 10mins and can be done without an appointment, so just show up whenever you have time. By the way, there will be no 2-step additions to existing flashes, but all new flashes (or reflashes) include the launch control. It is complicated and there won't be time for it amidst all the other scheduled tuning.

THIS TRIP IS NOT YET CONFIRMED UNTIL THERE ARE 5 DEPOSITS. If you have any questions, then let me know.

There are 3 spots I just opened - send a pay pal and indicate which one you want

You're all in luck. With the new invention of the EcuFlash software along with the Tactrix cable, you can now get as many maps as you want, and Al is offering to give customers both a pump gas and race gas tune at no extra charge. You just have to buy the $90 cable from Tactrix.com, then have a laptop with the free software from openecu.org. Then, you can switch back and forth between pump, race, valet, stock, etc., whenever you want.

Be sure to show up at your tuning slot with a near-empty tank of pump gas. Then, after that tune, toss in whatever octane you want to use. Be sure that you bring whatever octane you plan to use when racing. You don't want to get tuned on one octane and then use a different octane, if possible.

So bring the laptop on the tune day or can we just bring a flash drive?

Flash drive is fine, but if you bring your laptop, you can get a tutorial and some setup/installation help.

Im not in luck I have a IX but he can still do it using the mbc right? or should I just wait for it to come out for the ix and stay with the 93 for my first tune? Would it be more beneficial to spend more time on the 93 tune since I will be running that most of the time. My car has yet to be to the track (maby this summer) and im still on my stock cluch?
