roughly 2100-2200 depending on where you are.[/QUOTE]
I have been starting to really put some patterns together with various tunes for various altitudes

The barometric comensation on the evo is not very accurate

It seems that 91 with 2200 feet and hot air is not a prescription for mega power

I am hoping that at least one guy headed to the dyno has a SAFC at this time ?

yeah like Ryan said, Alex and myself have one but I can't really afford a custom tune right now so it's a base flash for me!

I would like to see at least one of them on the dyno with a A - B test and if they pay for the dyno I will upgrade them to a full custom tune at no extra cost

JUST TO CARIFY

Their SAFC must have been "professioanlly" tuned by TT to apply for this ofer

Also when you bring fuel to the dyno shop. Please have it in a jug with a working vent and when putting it in the cars tank, it does not leak. Would appreciate that.
Another note. Did some pressure checks tonight on some EVO's. They had leaks. Damn did they leak. Haven't tested a car yet that didn't have atleast one leak. Still looking for that perfect car.

AL you make a valid point. The police officer asked the flash guy to take him out in the car and do a datalog after they were done on the dyno. Very ironic if you ask me. The car needed a 1 degree change to avoid knock. That could very well be the degree that saves the engine on the road course.
Everyone face it. The left coast is just plain screwed when it comes to gas. Come on, 91 of any brand is a joke. Sure miss the 93 Shell of Texas. Damn that stuff was good.

"last weekend in AZ the mustang dyno there was not even loading cars close enough to realize full boost on the dyno - totally useless for accurate tuning"
I met the guy you are talking about from Tucson at the Mustang factory last winter. They really got some problems if the dyno is not loading the car. Sounds like a wiring problem for the eddy current or the torque link is way out of range. I can load a car down so much on my dyno the car will barely turn the drums. Boost on the street to the dyno seems to be with most cars, either spot on or 1 psi different. Most of the turbo cars build boost at an incline equal to or there abouts with the torque curve.

+1. The only Evos I don't find leaks on usually are stock ones. People have no clue they're driving around with boost leaks - usually multiple ones. I know when I first pressure tested mine, I found a leak at 13psi (stock BOV), 14psi (vaccuum hose to WG nipple), 15psi (vaccuum hose to turbo nipple), 16psi (vaccuum hose on MBC side), 18psi (UICP), and 20psi (MBC itself).

I pressure tested last week and didn't get a leak until I got to 26psi, which was when my MBC started letting out the pressure, since that's where my boost is set. That's how it should be.
