Al,
I just want to say thanks so much for making the Arizona Evo owners commmunity happy. I believe it was a very sucessful trip tuning wise, everyone for the most part was very happy with their tunings despite their already mechanical issues.
This trip went so well that I already have enough people for a second Tucson trip.
I also would like to say thanks to everyone that showed up, we had a lot of customers supporting this event through out the entire day.
Special thanks to Steve from IAperformance and his crew for having their shop open past 11pm, they worked hard to get some mechanical issues solved in a timely manner on some customer cars.
Anyway, that was my .2c, I just want it to share with the Evo community that Al stood to his customer service and worked his a s s off to make sure everyone was tuned despite some mechanical issues some customer developed. Your hard work does not go unnoticed
Al, we will see you very soon, I am puting another tuning group for you bro.

j/kI'm glad everything worked out for you guys this trip. I know I talked to Al about having him tune my EMS for me, but things just didn't fall into place like I had hoped so I missed out.
You will have your chance this time. I already have the OK from Al to come back. Steve at IAperformance is also ready to rumble, I just need some serious customers that are willing to get their cars tune.
Al proved me yesterday how fantastic he is in terms of tuning. We had a customer with a Black Evo and a GT30R turbokit from RNR. The guy had so many mods that it was ridiculous.
He rolled in with his car completly pig rich, black smoke, stalling all the time with a bad iddle and absolutely no power 231whp/247tq. He had at least $6000 in engine mods alone.
Al started his tuning from absolutely scratch, he managed to increase the max hp by nearly 50whp and 40plus tq from just tuning alone. All I can say is that the customer was extremelly happy.
Al turned his car into a reliable and driveable car which is something that the customer never experienced since he purchased the car.
When we (me and Al) got to the brain of the ECUTEK we were shocked to see who the previous tuner was.. I will stop my comments here, that is all I have to say.
This is what the customer wrote me this morning:
Hey bud,
Just wanted to thank you for all the work you put into the tuning effort. I love the outcome and could not be happier. Al did and great job and you were spot on with the work he does.
I need to replace the spark plugs and as wondering which I should get...NGK?? and what gap to put them at.
Thanks again,
Curtis

Thanks Carlos I appreciate all your work and help
It was a great weekend, too bad there were so many cars to tune and not more time to spend some leisure time with you and the rest of the AZ guys
Steve at IA was great and some of the cars came out very well despite the dyno which is totally OUT of whack - hopefully he will have it fixed by the time I retuirn
Also - when I come back we have to get Mr. Shadrick to come back - his job was not done due to some crazy alcohol kit he had purcahsed and a badly adjusted wastegate actuator
Shadrick is a great guy and a greta evo he has
Best regards Everyone !
