Any plans for a NLTS feature?

just wondering if your ever going to be able to incorporate a 'no lift to shift' option with your flashes?

Clay's talking about the driving technique of No Lift Shifting.
AFAIK there is no NLS option in any flash.
Just practice it's pretty simple to do, except the 1-2.

I didn't reply with a smartass answer. Al has said that it's incorporated into the flash. We tested it back in December of last year when the launch control was first added.

Btw, what is "warlton"?

so your telling me that there is an adjusted stationary rev limiter (launch control) along with a secondary rev limiter (NLTS) all incorporated into the current flash. Sorry but I find that hard to swallow since the NLTS option has never been mentioned.

That's what he claims.

I don't know why you're being so belligerent towards me when I just answered the question. I just posted another vid of my no-lift-shifting all 4 shifts (yes, 4) in my now personal best 12.30 here at altitude. I know what you're talking about in terms of a secondary limiter that keeps you from overrevving between no-lift shifts while also giving a timing retard to keep the turbo spooled, but I haven't seemed to need it with the speed of my shifts on the stock turbo. With a big turbo, it's more critical, but then again most people don't use a flash on big turbos.

As I already mentioned, back in December, when Al custom tuned me with the new 2-step, I tested it with him riding along, and he kept mentioning the NLTS feature.

So when shifting with the throttle all the way down what does the rpm drop too so that your not hitting the next gear at red line. I remember having this feature on my old hondata.

It doesn't drop down, it just doesn't go up beyond a certain point.

When you gave me your answer it sounded like you were talking about your 'superior driving abilities' not an answer to my actual question.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I just want a honest answer. Not "thats what he claims" or "back in Decemeber he kept mentioning it". If you don't know the answer for sure then there is NO need to respond to the post. I hope that didn't come out as too belligerent.

Is that certian point just the normal rev limit that he sets? I maybe missing something I honestly have not tried it on an evo
