I'm a little confused by the reference to "Buschur flash." I thought the Buschur flash was a mail-in product and that there were only custom "Dynoflashes"? When Al tunes at Buschur's shop, are the tunes different than what you'd get if you went to Al's dyno?

Thanks.

The Buschur Flash is a mail in deal. They are flashes that were done on our dyno with our parts and Al tuning. I guess you could consider getting tuned here on our dyno as a regular custom tune.

No the tunes would not be different per dyno. Al tunes the car to make good power where it will be safe and reliable.

Al,

I got a custome tune from you last summer at Buschur, and this year I'm considering getting a Buschur TBE. If I come down to have it installed, do I need to make an appointment to get a quick reflash for the TBE? I'm assuming that it's not critical to get a reflash for an exhaust, but I'd like to maximize the TBE as much as possible.

Would it be more beneficial to get on the dyno after the TBE is installed? The reflash would be at no cost since I got the full custom tune in the past right?

Jarrod,
If I decide to get on the dyno, how much is it just for dyno time?

Al / Jarrod,

Any feedback? I just need to know if I need to make an appointment. I'm not really looking for dyno time, but I'd like to maximize the TBE, so If I could get a relfash that same day, that would be awesome. Let me know. Thanks.

Hey Al I sent you a pm last week about needing a reflash due to the p0300 CEL I'm now getting daily. Since I have to get the dealership to fix this code issue I'm definatly going to need a new dynoflash since I'm running Buschur stage 3 parts. Will I have to pay the new dynoflash customer price since there won't be any traces of your flash on my ecu or will I get the existing customer price since I am...well, an existing customer?

Lee

...I mean hey 50 bucks is 50 bucks

Sorry I missed this post on friday and I was not in the office here yesterday.

What kind of exhaust is currently on the car? Is it stock or a different company. That would really all play a part on wether or not you would need to get a reflash. If its stock then yes I would recommend it. If it is another companies exhaust the tune you have in there should be fairly close depending on if anything else had been changed since your last tune.

If a custom reflash was done it would be $325.

We normally put the last car on the dyno at 5pm. We like to shut the dyno down around 6 so the neighbors dont get to irritated at us. lol

Thanks for the response. Sent you a PM.

The reflash is $325??? Does this include dyno time? I thought all reflashes were free if I got the full custome tune. I'm not looking for dyno time, just the reflash to maximize the TBE.

Not a problem man. Sorry for the delay tho....

Yes the $325 would include the dyno time. You would really have to ask Al about just a quick reflash. I would not be able to comment on that as I do not have a for sure answer on how he does that but I'm pretty sure the flashes arent free.
