Base flash then added race gas and cranked the boost some? Nice...it's amazing how fast cars go in Idaho. It's as if there is 0 affect from the altitude, whereas I get absolutely murdered by it up here in CO. Used to be another guy in Idaho who miraculously had huge MPH all the time with minimal mods in defiance of the altitude. I can't figure out what it is...
Actually it was in Washington
I guess its just all the good driving we got going on up here
I hope to make it over to Pacific in Seattle later this summer to run at sea level. Everyone who has raced here and then again over there has noticed a .2-.3 difference due to altitude and track prep.

Or it's because they secrectly mix their fuel with potatoes.
Gaulrich, it says Cusco Twin in his sig.
N1evo, I don't see how there could be a .2-.3s increase anywhere else when you're already defying nature. 117mph without a custom tune on race gas is just ridiculous. I only lost about .4s up here at 6000, but that was due to losing 4-5mph. You don't seem to be losing ANY mph whatsoever. Maybe some better track prep would give you a better 60 and better ET, but I generally look at differences in MPH when determining potential. You're already near the edge of the stock turbo's ability despite the altitude as if it has no effect.

They didnt do any prep at all. I think my 60 ft's are about as good as there going to get at this track. The temperature was in the upper 60's.
I think that I just have a freak car, and I have alittle faith in my driving as well
There is another Evo8 out here with pretty much all the same mods as me, except the 10.5 hotside and exhaust mani, running a Vishnu tuned Xede and his best is a 12.8. There were a couple new Corvette's out here a few weeks ago running 13.2's as well so I know the times are on.
Heres the slip. Heading back out tonight so we'll see what happens.
