New Orleans - Resilience of the Human Spirit
I am here in New Orleans for a mini tuning trip this weekend and I am pleased to report that the fine people of New Orleans are doing great !
The thing that has impressed me most about my day long journey here has been the really super friendly manner of everyone I haved encountered
It amazes me to interact with people who are about the most friendly and easy going I have run accross in my nation wide travels. The part that amazes me is that many of the people I have met and talked with today have endured great suffering and personal loss from the hurricane yet they have a great additude and spirit.
In the area I am staying west of New Orleans things are almost 100% back to normal, but my tour earlier of the down town section of New Orleans looked like a war zone in some areas.
I did not know what to expect comming here and there was only a few guys to tune but something inside me told me to come and I am really happy that I did.
I can't wait till tomorrow to meet some of the Evo owners in this area to hear their stories about the storm and what they went through.
