Good job

I'm with ya brother I am a die hard EVO fan I own a 2003 EVO VIII and am sitting in Iraq trying to convince my wife she needs an EVO IX. We dont get paid half of what our counterparts are making doing the same job and then they dont have to go out on convoys where they can watch there Platoon Leader get shot in the neck and die. Dont give us a deal write your congressman and tell them to increase our pay. We currently sit 12% under the nations poverty level. I chose this job and yes its a trying profession but I Love blowing s@#t up!!!!!!! Thanks

AL has done this before. I know for a fact becasue he did mine. All we paid for was shipping to and from. We ( AL & I ) dont see eye to eye but I give him props on being THE ONLY VENDOR that has ever done something like that.

He did it on his own , no one had to ask for it. When you ask for it you make it seem like begging... which in turn makes us look like we are trying to take advantage of a situation.

I'm Air Force in Colorado and very interested in having a flash for my Evo IX. If we can get a military deal then that's sweet, but if not I will still get it once Al is back in town.

Those of you that say we choose our fate and shouldn't get a discount... hats off to you, just remember that we sacrifice a lot and don't get paid half as much as we would if we got out and did the same job, yet we choose to stay in for our country.

+1 on not asking for it... that's not why we joined. We joined (hopefully) 'cuz we love our country, countrymen and way of life, and are willing to die for that. If he (and any other vendor) will give a discount, great. If not, that's their choice... the beauty of a free country... which is something we fight for.

I dont see whats wrong with asking for a discount. There are numerous companies that have military discounts and dont advertise it. You have to ask. Hell I am a Chief in the Navy and I ask for a discount everywhere I go because you never know.

come on now fella, you know better then to get on that side of the ball.... your own business is private but you and i both know we have both asked for a little relief due to the fact we spend 8 months a year in damn 3rd world countries...

personally i dont think there is anything wrong with asking for a discount... the worst thing that can happen is they say no.... the best thing, they will help us out a little bit with a few bucks off. Nothing wrong with showing support for people who are in harms way a little more then the rest of the nation. If they choose not to, who cares, doesnt mean they dont support us, just means that maybe right now for them, times arent so easy either, or maybe they are to the point they arent making a profit... either way, doesnt matter... but it doesnt hurt to ask

in his defense.... how many times have people posted military discounts ? Al has in the past, nothing wrong with asking if he is still offering it or is planning on doing it soon.... with the amount of PM's he gets, and i know from experience he doesnt always respond, sometimes its easier to post a thread so he can see how many people are supporting it or opposing it to decide if he does want to set something up

I have always been very supportive of the US milirtary members and have extended special FREE flashing events on several Thanksgiving Holidays

At this time I have no military discounts under review

However - let me say - GOD BLESS and support out troops - thank you for making me proud to be an American every day

Al,

You have been very supportive of the military in the past. And, I think I speak for the majority of the military guys here, am greatly appreciative.

Thanks,

GO USA!
