Quick question about the dynoflash

I currently have a flash on my car from another company, that i'm very very very unhappy with. And I wish I had gone with Al's service to begin with.

My question is, will I need to send my ECU back to this company first to get flashed back to stock? Or can Al go right over that flash and do his thing from there?

i was in the same boat you are and you can go straight to al. That is what i did actually my ecu is in his hands right now. But no you do not have to get it flashed back to stock just send it to him!!!

That's good to hear, cause I didn't want to deal with the company anymore. After I got tuned from them, my car went to hell, started pulling timing, CEL's went off left and right. My car went from a 12.5 to a 13.8 after their flash and custom tune

Thanks for letting me know. Time for a Dynoflash now

I hope I will. This is basically my last effort into saving this car. Cause after the last flash and tune, so many things went wrong with the car. So i'm hoping this will fix all my timming pulling, missfires, and everything else, especially I think it's the P0300 code, I throw everyday since then.

Spyderbite, where are you in St. Louis? I live in St. Charles. I have a IX with almost the exact same mods as you minus the Exede and BOV. My car made 332 whp and 294 wtq with the mods and the Eflash this past Friday.

Good luck with your car. Maybe I'll see you around sometime.

I'm in Chesterfield, but i'm in St. Charles all the time. Naturally you'll make more whp than me...damn mivec

Did you get dyno'd by Ron? If so did you make 332 on his dyno or did you correct it to dynojet numbers?

I had it done on the AMS dyno which is a dynojet. The 332 is an uncorrected number. The SAE correction factor is 1.04 which would equal 345 whp.

that's cool. Suprised I haven't run into you yet...Sometime you should come up to Elm street off 370 @ the sonic on fridays and saturdays. Usually a decent group of ppl are up there. Had about 3-4 Evo's there last week + 20-30 other cars.
