Thanks for observing this

I have sadly observed however that any type of trash talking or vendor bashing gets a LOT of attention and participants

While simple facts of how to fix cars and technical info gets small attention

Hopefully some get the point

PS - You will not that I have not commented on or discussed the other tuner's tuning or map that was in the car when it came to me - it is pointless to do so as the car was not mechanically sound and had poor quality gas

Well they have it there now. So maybe one day when they have time they can do a quick A-B comparison when they have a car on the dyno.

^ but why the same tune? Shouldn't you tune it with the intake also?

Abner,

You are a good friend of mine and you are a very intelligent guy but I find your comments a bit hostile against Dynoflash and Buschur.

These two vendors actually surpassed their customer service expectations and bent over to fix a issue that the customer had after the fact. The customer's car generated an issue post (After) coming out of Buschurs dyno well tuned and completely knock and trouble free.

Abner, seriously, is time to change, Dynoflash and Buschur both offered you tons of help when your car was phisically in pieces. I don't see that is fair questioning Dynoflash or Buschur customer service. Remember, these two vendors openly reached their arms to help you when you needed the most.

Al,

Thanks for posting and good to hear that you resolved the situation.

Buschur,

Thanks for your great support!

BBRYbruno,

Congrats!!

+100

I have to say this very thing pisses me right off. Countless times ppl want to blame a tuner or vender when they can't even take proper care of their own performance car. 9.9 times out of 10 these situations are a result of issues just like this one.

I guess some ppl should stick to non-performance cars if they can't handle the fact that modified performance machines require special care and maintenence.

P.S. The tune you did for me ROCKS Al! Looking forward to your next trip to Tucson. I got an SMC methanol kit coming from Carlos that has your name written on it for the tune

Yes $100 for dyno time. But I actually walked out of Buschurs paying $360 for misc. ****.

There was one boost leak, relax. I maintain my car just fine.

haha...cause a boost leak means you dont maintain your car...happens to lots of people buddy, and small ones arent always exactly noticeable......and the shi**y gas is his fault too huh? Bruno you should make a lab at home to test your octane everytime you get gas nice ride btw, let me know when you go to Thompson!

Recently - all heck broke loose on the forums after Bruno was not happy with his performance

Here is SOME of what he recently had to say

Sadly when Bruno "validated" his results his car actaully slowed down by 1 mph

I was shocked to hear of Burno's problems as I had not heard from him and when I tuned his car back in June it was totally knock free and smooth - producing a very nice looking dyno sheet

David Buschur wisely stated last week

I can also assure you of something else. IF the car was actually knocking after Al did a custom tune on it when it was here THEN SOMETHING CHANGED SINCE THEN. NO doubt in my mind. Whether it was octane, boost, parts combination or something else, something changed.
This is not a FAIR statement as Bruno took a tune that was 10% completed and rushed out to the track, running "poor gas" according to you, as well at on a map that was not complete.

Since we worked the first flash more conservative to eliminate the knock (which was the whole reason Bruno contacted us in the first place), we were just about to work our way back forward in performance before Bruno decided to rush out and compare our unfinished custom tune/mapfix, without our confirmation that it was ready.

You outta share all the details, even though this is the biased Dynoflash forum.

Scott, the comment you highlighted was made in reference to BBY's car having knock when he first posted that thread. It had nothing to do with you or your incomplete attempt at tuning remotely. Al did not say one thing related to you in this thread, and Buschur was not referring to you. Relax.

I did not highlight that. It was highlighted in Al's post.

The point you missed is that Al posts what he implies as conclusive results that Bruno ran 1mph slower on a TTP "remapping", which is far from the truth.

This was on an incomplete tune, not ready for testing not on a finished map as implied by Al. I cannot control people and their tunes. If someone wants to pay for a custom remapping or custom tune and then take the first revision and run out and test it like it is a final product, it does not correctly represent my work.

It represents a desire for instant gratification as a tradeoff for the improvements he was looking for.

i think the part he was referring to in what you highlighted was the fact that the OCTANE changed....Bruno was using "100" octane gas that was complete sh*t, i saw it on his car and another right after. I think Al was unhappy he took the map to another tuner but i didnt see a negative comment about you

I wasn't trying to misrepresent TTP's work in any way. I ran out to the track with the unfinished map because I had some free time and I wanted to go. I never said that was the final product.

And as a side note TTP's pump gas map they did for me made about 274whp I believe on the dyno (give or take a few hp). This was with the unfinished map. So not bad at all.
