Can you make the Jun 264 cams idle with a custom flash? If so, do I have to have the cam gears?

 

The idle like kittens after I tune them - no cam gears needed - great cams

 

with the stock ECU?! rocking the MAF

the reason i ask is bc ... is soo i might need to get a new set of cams =P

 

I am under the assumption that when I asked if he could make the Jun 264's idle with a custom flash the only way to flash was to use the stock ecu and maf. Maybe I am wrong, so Al if you could please respond that would be great.

 

hahah no dude your right... i didnt read the custom reflash it was late last night and i was tired... i read tune ::shruggs:: hahh

 

Your right I originally had custom tuned flash (I think that's how I said it). I took out the tuned part so there would be no confusion.

So Al, just to clear things up. You can make these cams idle with a flash correct?

You obviously didn't read the whole thread or you wouldn't have put your .02 in. The most aggressive cams that I have been able to find data on with a flash tune are the hks 280's which ARE NOT as aggressive as the Jun 264's. If you can find data on a car with cams that are comparible to the Jun 264's and they are using a flash tune then by all means show me the way.

 

i can...i just had my car relfashed by pruven performance...and i have jun cams...they are way to agressive...my car only put out 317whp...due to the agressive cam..i need to change over to a milder cam such as hks 272s....
