Total sucess! Thanks Al
Al,
I knew it was worth waiting. You showed one more time that you are a master on tuning. My GSX feels a completely different car!!
Going from a conservative 17psi to a safe 24 psi is a remarkable achievement. I knew I could trust you tuning on my DSM link and that is why I gave you the oportunity. The car will go to the dyno on Monday.
As per the other guys that you tuned with the GT35Rs, all I can say is WOW!, Ryan was hiting 2.2 bars on a GT35R on 91oct and Methanol. Ryan gave me a ride and I held the "oh****" handle very well..
These guys from Phoenix left very happy. Again, thanks for coming over to AZ and making the Evos fast and safe and off course making the customer very happy.

I don't know yet but here is a hint:
296whp/274tq on a Mustang Dyno at 17 psi on 91oct ,untuned and without methanol.
Now is tuned, it runs 24psi ( 7psi more than before) and is running on methanol
My guess or expectation is at least 20-30whp more. Regardles of the power(I am not one of this people that care about dyno numbers much) the car feels a complete different beast.
My GSX was trapping today at the track 106mph consistent on 91oct untune and only at 17psi. I think it should trap now tuned somewhere around 110mph.
My Evo 9 traps 107oct on 91oct with a flash, 3"TB,CAI,MBC,LICP

Tuning day first impressions
First of all, I have to say that I am in the wrong business! This crazy MF gets to performance test tricked out Evo's for a living? What was I thinking when I made all of my critical career choices?
When my son comes to me and says that he wants to be a cop or an astronaut, I can honestly say "No, no you dont."
At first I was a little more aprehensive about turning my car over to Al that I let on.
It is like loaning you wife to Dirk Diggler for a night. She's going to be wild and crazy in the sack when you get her back, but you don't quite know if the relationship will ever be the same.
I think the performance gains will eventually help me overcome the jealous heartache.
I wish I would have been able to stand around and try to look cool with Al and the other AZ Evo guys, but I promised the family a drive up mount Lemmon. It was great meeting everyone, and I hope you all had a good time and a great tune!
(Thanks to PoorBoys for the emotional support!)
I didn't get any pictures of the tuning event, but I have a couple from Mount Lemmon afterwards:

Thanks Dino - it has been a great journey to tune evos, like every other job the grass is always greener on the other side or so they say. The main thing that gives me pleasure in my work is trying my best to do as good a job as I can every time and knowing that I have given my best effort.
Thanks to all the guys in Tucson - it was nice to be in a warm place if only for a day.

Al,
Thanks a lot for the tune. Very pleased with it. The car feels like the best it has ever been. Very very smooth and I know it's really reliable. I'm going to get the 280's and head studs soon. Hopefully we can get you back soon. Thanks again!!

Rob,
The subject is about Al picking on a random objects, parts, components, cars or even a person. With Al you always expect a funny theme, this time was a magnet test.
The last time(Nov 06) was about holding the customer's ECU in top of his head and asking the customer how he wants the tune done. (I couldn't hold my laugh that time).
Back in April(06) he was picking on Bill(Teshnixki) because he brought a Mustang GT to a Evo meeting. It is all good, he is always joking around but never hurts anyone.. Bill (the victim) was splitted/bent in half laughing.
Previously (Dec 05) the victim was Abner(slowcar), he gave him hardtime in the form of jokes.
