No but you can watch the rest of the videos I will be making and posting there - which will focus on how to improve the driveability through tuning, start up, and full WOT runs.

With a car like mine you have to fine low traffic times to run it so it will take me a few days to complete the series. That and I have to do some maintenance on the car now - (nut and bolting) fluid changes etc.

Man that turbo, BOV plus the motor, I mean everything was perfect sounding... And it still needs work , I can't wait to see what that thing sounds like tuned right..... I don't think there's anything that I've been in sounding sooooooooo wonderful... My god.. Keep the good work up! Hope to see the same type of video when it's done tuning!

Thanks Al, we have been needing something like this. Please cover cold start on a IAC car that would really be great.

Very cool vid. Very interesting to see all the work that goes into tuning with an AEM. Great reference material.

Ok making progress

Today's video is very small

First I went to get the car emissions tested so I can renew the registration I need a fail test

Sadly - with the AEM they cant even hook up the testing machine - it kept saying test aborted - so I will have to figure out a way to get the stock computer running on the car - then get a fail test - then I pay $600 in emmissions related repairs - and then I get the car's registration updated. Man - what an ordeal - somthing to think about before buying an AEM on a street car - if your state has emissions testing.

Ok on to better news

I was having a mis fire problem

Turns out after some quick brain thinking it was the two step rev limiter which i had set to 7300 kicking in as I have no active VSS and the car thought I was at zero vehicle speed - thus activating the two step all the time. I activated the thumb button I use in the AEM soft ware as a trigger for the two step and then I was all fixed.

The pulls you see today are as follows - all at 29 psi peak boost

1 - 3rd gear and 4th gear (3rd cuts off at 7300)

2 - two step fixed - 1st gear launch - spins through 1st - and gear to 9500

3 - 2nd gear pull up hill - all 4 tires spin

It seems my rear end is blown as its making a huge noise on decel - will swap that tonight

Al
