Black Death Sleeper GT35 R Subaru LGT with pump and meth 511 whp

This was a really nicely sorted car and was a lot of fun to drive, a lot of luxury and a lot of power and speed in a super comfortable machine

The modifications carfeully tested and chosen by the customer included a

Perrin Gt35 turbo kit
Turbo XS fmic
blow through MAF
Tial BOV
3" exhuast
fuel rails and adjustable fuel pressure regulator
PE injectors
TGV deletes
AP1 tuned by Dyno Flash
Cooling Mist Alchy kit
LGT stock inatake manifold

Stock long block, cams etc

This car really had excelent driveability with the blow through MAF and the PE injectors it was no problem on start udle and crusing around on partial TPS.

We eventually MAXED out the MAF sized in the TX's fmic pipe at 511 whp (26.5 psi of boost) and from there I detuned it slightly and lowered the boost a bit for a safe daily driver with plenty of head room left on the MAF. After I road tuned the car and put it back on the dyno at 24 psi of boost and it put down a respectable 450 whp with a very safe and conservative tune.

I was impressed with the low end TQ on this car and I query to what extent the LGT manifold effected the low end TQ vs the stock STI manifold I am more familair with. (I have not had a lot of LGT's with this level of modifcation or with a customer this motivated to push thelimits power wise).

But for the maxing out of the MAF I am sure we could have poured in some race gas and reached 550 plus whp with more boost.

Without a doubt a strong runner. I have always seen that the Perrin kit was a bit lower power than the UR GT35 for example due to the turbo back housing this car seemed to really make good power with the Perrin kit.

Oh well - I can't blame him for being happy it was an exciting time to see the car making that much power on pump gas
