P0300 Fix???
P0300 Fix???
any word on any solutions? the Creader is a not go for me. u said something about cobb tuning and there software. will we be able to turn off the P0300 parameter?
I cant comment for sure about the Cobb software until the pro tuner application is released - 2 - 3 more months
if your C reader is not working then you may not be using it right as the C reader seems to resolve the problem in every case I have run across

Ted b informed me that i was useing the correct Creader. so no luck there.
In my experience using the C reader prevented the 0300 code from emerging
After SEMA we will have more word from Cobb on the progress of the Access Port solution

AL i dont think its preventing the code from emerging, i think its masking the code. with it pluged in to the obd2 port, its always reading the ecu for codes, and when one pops up, it clears it with in seconds. this isnt fixing the problem because the car still is throwing the code. it wont get past the readiness tests without throwing that code. there for this Creader will not work as a final solution because u wont get your registration renewed.

The Cobb Access Port may be the ultimate solution to this problem
I have seen many bone stock 03 Evos have signiicant 0300 code problems and sometimes modified cars can pick up the problem
OP - check the ROM version your car is using - it may be possible to update the firm ware on your ecu to a more resisitant Mitsubishi update version. Send me a PM and we can try a few revisions also to yoyr tuning to see if we can help the 0300 issue.

code was off until saturday night, then on the way home from a family party, i was deceling to a light, clutched the car and bam, code back on. wtf man. i have to get my car inspected in like 2-3 weeks and with this SES light on im ****ed.
Do you have access to a scantool? If you do- clear the codes and keep an eye on your readiness monitors. Cruising and decels are what get them done. Stay out of boost. Once all but one are ready, continue to drive nicely and get it inspected. You don't have to wait until its too late. NYS doesn't care if you wanted to do it once a week.
little update on my P0300
comes on every 2 weeks. its like clockwork. funny thing is, it only lasts 1.5 - 2 days then goes right off.
something i have to deal with, so whatever.
o and the car passed inspection when the code was off. so im all good.
