If you still have the restrictor in, you don't really have to worry about breaking anything.
The restrictor + the 5k rev limit is pretty much a failsafe. l

i guess that is true but i wont hold that to the book. you can always break something if you do not know what your doing right.

if 100% stock i say set it to 5500 and dump it will have a nice 1.5 60ft

i know that evo 9's come with one what it really is, is a revlimiter in first gear set at 5k rpm to prevent damage that can be done by people who cant drive 2step is just a name tuners give it because they can adjust it remove it or set it higher i guess

I agree with some of the others you can use that as a way to lanuch but be weary of the stock clutch and the transfer case but what can i say
