What down pipe to get?

What down pipe to get?

Does anyone have an suggestions on what test pipe i should get. I have an hks carbon ti catback with hks downpipe. I want to get a test pipe put dont no which one to get. Any suggestions would really help.

Honestly, any 3" test pipe will do good. I personally run a Perrin. Just make sure you do the CEL mod to eliminate the PO420 code.

Thanks, for the cel mod do i have to buy a megan ss mechanical 02 fix because isnt that the thing that goes into that little hole in the test pipe so that the cel wont come on.

Not necessarily. I thought that and I bought one that I thought was the best deal (aka cheapest). The one I have now is about 1/2-1" short, so essentially it has to pull the exhaust system together. When I took it off to replace it with an HFC, the gasket showed that there was a lot of leaking going on. Also, the flanges may not be angled correctly, and you'll have a hard time making them fit.

On another note, I heard that the eBay testpipes work pretty well.

I have the downpipe/cat delete. saves on having so many joints in the exaust system. Also, I just use a spark plug non-fouler on the exaust O2 sensor... works like a charm.
