Kickass... I got 2 tunes named after me now!

Al, you gotta come out to AMS soon... but wait until I get my exhaust, so you can retune and have a Fireball 3!

Is a reflash able to maintain boost better without tappering off to from 19psi to 16psi?
It would be nice, not to have to get a boost controller.

Thanks!

What he said Why can't ECU be programmed to keep boost up?

Pick me,pick me .Hey,Bryan ,I guess I'm falling in love again with my baby.I got extra $$$ ,so I'm planning on getting EBC(HKS EVC V ,but still not sure about that) and HKS Carbon Ti plus I might need Fireball 3 as well .I hope Al will stop over at AMS in April or May ,so I can reflash ECU again.

Hey,Al Thanx a LOT ,man!!!

No comments? Inquiring minds would like to know, and I do not think I have the only inquiring mind that would like to inquire about the ECU ability to hold/increase boost and if Flash can make it do that. Yay or Nay would be nice Thanks.

I'm off the the airport to board the plane for New Orleans so you have a weekend to think about it...

I thought the flash got rid of the boost taper. but i would like to know for sure too. It would be nice not to spend the extra money on a boost controller.

it is worth it for the boost controller. I gained over 30whp just from adding a boost controller and keeping it at 20psi vs the flutuation I had from the open exhaust and even with the dynoflash. Al got me some serious power with my Hallman MBC.

I hope to beat this record in the spring, with adding 272's fuel and fuel pump. I got 310whp with just a boost controller, dynoflash and 3"exhaust

Don't I need the cams and stuff for the Fireball 2 to work?

Doesn't the ecu flash hold it at 20 psi anyhow? and by the way that's pretty good numbers. Wished I could get a custom dynotune from Al.

Hmm, still no answer? Al, do I get a gold star for stumping you? The question still stands - can ECU be flashed to control boost - ie remove taper completely/increase boost?
