BTW - i took off the Nitrous this year and I am going all turbo so it should be interesting

I am now running a bigger 3027s set up than came with the HKS kit and the results are down right scary

Also - after 6 attempts we finally have a Dyno Flash ported and polished head set up which makes serious power but don't bust a leak in the exhuast port area

Frankly and honestly - its so fast now that I am fearful of driving it up and down the road tuning it

Its getting excedingly difficult to cling onto the wheel for deal life, watch the wideband and try and watch the boost all at the same time. I tried asking a couple of guys to help watch the stuff but after a couple of runs they became disinteretsed in further rides

I guess this is why they make dynos - BUT - I am so hooked on street tuning that I want to tune it on the street and i like the results i get on the street better anyway - its just personal preference for me

It has made for some interesting looks from motorists on the highway that saw me doing a pull - the car is moving basically like a super bike from 30 to 95 mph in 3rd gear its unreal

i am just hoping that the stock drivetrain can hold together long enough to get one pass down the strip b/c its going to be a very fast run

Sadly - its so darn strong I can't imagine it holding together much longer without something letting loose

Maybe the beast will suprize me and make some more majic at the track on Saturday

As someone just told me yesterday - this "isn't a hobby. . . . its a lifestyle"

Bad news

After finishing my tuning inj 3rd gear - 1 , 2 & 3 pulls smooth and hard as heck

BUT 4th gear breaks up under anything over 1.7 bars of boost

It seems the AEM ign fix on the EMS worked only so far

Seems I need a additional aftermarket ignition system and coils

I wont be able to get that in by Saturday - but I still think I will go down on saturday and try a few runs at 1.7 bars - 2.0 bars will have to wait till next week

Woh. Thats a 4 hour drive! It used to take be almost 2 hours to get to Englishtown to autocross when I lived in Philly.
