I'd be happy to help if I knew what you meant by "M" and for what parts.

So I'm assuming the ecu on the 2004 model is different from the ecu on the 2003? I thought both models were the same? Could you clarify for me Al.

Hey, Al I got your part number. I talked to my buddy who's a mechanic at mitsubishi. The part number is indeed different. The '04 part number is MN191022. If you want I can scan the stuff he printed out for me and send it to you. So am I in time for the free dynoflash?

So one model has a different ecu then the 03 and the other the same, since MN132874 is the 03 part number. Interesting. I wonder why that is.

The PN may be used to indicate the level of firmware the unit is shipped with.
The actual ECU may be the same part. That is the way we do it at work.
Our Evos and the RS probably come with today's firmware.
The '04 will probably come with the latest EC firmware level, the one we keep hearing about
with all the "fixes".

One other reason would be that the '04 ECU is a different shape, or has different connectors.
But that doesn't seem likely.

What we are looking for here is NOT the info from the parts computer - we already had that! (But thanks anyway!) I am looking to see exactly ALL the numbers which are PRINTED on a final US 2004 Evo 8 - e.g. read the numbers off the sticker

Also - when they come out - I will offer a free reflash in person to the first few guys to test it out on the '04 and also examine the car for any differnces - thanks
