If u have anything like new cams, i wouldn't wait too long to get one.

But, Al can do the same thing to your car regardless of your fuel pump.

My advice? Just get one. I think gruppe-s has them for like $90 shipped. I think $90 is definitely worth the piece of mind.

 

Yea, I purposely bought the Walbro last week from Gruppe-S, and plan on installing it later this week. I wanted Al to tune it with the pump so my mileage and power don't drop off.

 

From the bottom on my heart - IF you live in Texas - get a fuel pump in your car before you custom tune

Its the best and safeest $ you can spend on your evo

OF COURSE - make sure its properly installed and you trsnfer over all platic washers and rubber spacers to the proper locations

We have seen a few bad installs

ALSO - make SURE the elec plug is all the way firmly plugged in to its socket before you reconnect the battery
