How much boost????

Hey Al, I have most bolt ons with 272 cams and your custom tune on 100 octane. My question is I am currently spiking at 22psi and holding around 20psi, is that ok, safety wise, being 100 octane and your tune. Also should I run more boost on race days or leave as is....Thanks...

If you want to run more boost, (23+psi) I'd get arp headstuds just to be sure that the stock headbolts won't stretch. it's only a $100 investment and it takes just an hour to install with the proper tools ( torque wrench is a must )

yes 20psi is more than safe on 100oct. as a matter of fact, most people run 20psi on 93 oct (stock is 19 than goes to 17 by redline)

I think if you title your thread "Big Problem with Al" he'll read it! hahaha... but seriously, if you put his name in the title, probably quicker (or any) response. He is kind of busy whooping asses at the track these days.
