What to handle better - part II - seats
I can tell you guys this - sport racing seats are prob one of the biggest improvements you can make on the evo
You are in a much better position to FEEL what the car is doing
The feedback is 100% times better and the lower position gives you a much better perspective to know what is going on
I have the Evo 3 by Sparco on the driver's side with custom bracket by DeMonte Motorsports (631) 831-9024 - they are master NASCAR race chassis fabricators
On the passenger side I use the EVO 1 and the stock Spacro brackets
Collest thing is I retain the sliders on both sides !
Once your strapped in with the harness you can just drive and the seat and harness holds you - no more bracing your self
Also - I would estimate 40 - 50 lbs weight loss

Mr. D Flash,
glad you posted this.been thinking of better racing seats. now lets say your wife(?)(*) also drove the car, would she find getting in and out of those seats cause for giving you grief?
* don't know if you are married but you get what I mean, some of us are sensitive to caustic comments.

The comfort level on these SPARCO seats is better than stock IMHO - but the side bolsters make getting in and out a TAD more difficult than stock
However - IMHO the control and feel over the car are so much more improved its worth it
I drove it two hours home in traffic and my *** was loving every minute - very good seats
