I plan on being at the Los Angeles meeting to get the base tune for my car. I have a couple questions though:
1) You stated in another thread that an aftermarket exhaust will reduce boost on our cars, why is that, and what loss of power are we talking about?
2) I've read that an aftermarket intake will actually cause the computer to reduce the amount of boost, due to too much air coming in. Is this only caused by cold air intakes, or will it also occur with a K&N panel filter?
3) What does a base program do (i.e. raise boost, control timing, etc.) Will it raise the horsepower all across the board, and what gains can I get with a mild setup (intake and exhaust)?
