stock car -- custom tune or mail in

Al, I apologize for the newbie question but I'm curious:

For a stock EVO ('03), with maybe a K&N filter in the future, is it worth scheduling a custom tune while you're down here, or just do a mail-in until I get more parts.

I plan on keeping the EVO mostly stock for a while; but can't really pass up some cheap horsepower

I'll probably miss this next tuning session, but I'm a couple of months off of affording it anyway.

thanks,
ac

the custom tune thats coming up will allow you to get "free" through the mail flashes, where all you have to pay is shipping, the horsepower you will pick up is great, ask "raven ron" on our site about the stock flash

Might I suggest that you consider trying to use the regular $199.99 through the mail flash now and then saving up a few $$$ and doing a fuel pump, MBC and some cat bac exhuast and a custom tune in a e months

The best thing is the $199.99 you spent now is not wasted as you will then quaily for the existing cusomer dis**** rate - $350 instead of $500 for thecustom tune

Collest part is you can test the base flash risk free and get a full refund if itdost meet your 100% satisfaction !!!!!!

I think either way you go you will be happy with the results. I based my path on what modifications I planned on doing in the future.

Cool, thanks for the quick info. I still need to make the first payment, get my gauges in, and deal with the little stock tweaks (like T bolts, clutch line, 10 coats of Zaino , etc). After that, I'll be ready to mod.

Thanks,
ac
