This would actually be a Buschur Flash, but you're still the guy so I figured I would ask this question here. I'm looking to do a buschur stage 3 or 4 with flash but I have one big concern. I get decent 93 octane gas but a couple of time a year I like to drive to the mountains in New Mexico. You can only get mountain blend 90 or 91 octane up there. My stock evo actually threw a CEL on the way back from a week up there in March. I only go there a couple of times a year. I’ll go for a week or two and go through 10 or 11 tanks of gas for the whole trip. It is fun as hell to drive up there, but I can’t bring that much good gas with me. Do octane boosters help at all? Would the ecu just retard timing and when I had gotten back home and gone through a couple tanks of 93, could I pull the power on the ecu to reset it to flashed settings?
