Factory Warranty Questions
Factory Warranty Questions
Al: is there anything special that Dynoflash customers should know or keep in mind if their Evo is still under full factory warranty when they go in for dealer service?
What should you tell your
Service Manager, or what shouldn't you tell them?
What will they see when they plug the ECU into their Service Computer? Will they be able to tell it's been flashed?
Any issues with the dealer trying to void the warranty due to the remapped ECU?
Or are there any services that you shouldn't let the dealer perform that would screw up the mapping?
Obviously you wouldn't want to reflash back to stock before every trip to the dealer - but in what cases would this be a good idea?

AL - are you monitoring the posts in this forum? I see new threads from you but haven't seen a response yet - you've also got a PM from me in regards to the LA trip and Perrin Exhaust.

There is no way for the dealer to tell if your ecu has been flashed
Howeever - for those who are nervous - we offer a FREE reflash back to stock program - any time - for any reason its free to get it flashed back to 100% stock
IF the dealer were to reflash you to stock - very rare indeed - NEVER happened yet - then just send me your unit and every one's flash is saved on file - re-install would be free
